Because of the renovation of the Stadthaus Zurich couples could pick the lovely old guild house “Zur Waage” for their civil wedding location. The building is very picturesque and right at one of the most famous squares in Zurich but because it’s old, the rooms are fairly small. Nevertheless, everyone managed to squish into the room and I loved it because it got some lovely light, albeit it meant I had to tread carefully because there were feet everywhere.
After the official bit was done the wedding party had lunch in the old town and then everyone went up to Bergün for the real thing, where the Kurhaus Bergün was awaiting us with a refreshing apero and more guests joined.
